Located on the banks of the Colorado River near the Westwater Ranger Station, this group campsite hosts up to 30 people and 10 vehicles. Surrounded by red sandstone walls, the facility includes a shade shelter, picnic tables, a fire ring, and a vault toilet. The site sits right at the take-out for the 25-mile flatwater Ruby-Horsethief section and the put-in for the whitewater rapids of Westwater Canyon. Mountain bikers also use the location to access the 140-mile Kokopelli's Trail.
The road in has not been measured -- unknown, not bad.
