Park centered on a 355-acre lake just an hour southeast of Dallas. Thirteen primitive hike-in sites offer backcountry camping with lake views. The lake holds bass, catfish, and crappie with fishing piers and boat ramps for access. Trails include the 4.1-mile Wolfpen Hike and Bike Trail and 1.7-mile Beaver Slide Nature Path along the lakeshore. Kayak rentals available at a self-service kiosk. Nearby draws include First Monday Trade Days in Canton and the Texas Freshwater Fisheries Center in Athens.
