Park centered on a 355-acre lake just an hour southeast of Dallas. Five walk-in tent sites provide car-free camping with lake access. The lake holds bass, catfish, and crappie with boat ramps and fishing piers. Trails include the 4.1-mile Wolfpen Hike and Bike Trail and 1.7-mile Beaver Slide Nature Path along the lakeshore. Kayak rentals available at a self-service kiosk. Nearby draws include First Monday Trade Days in Canton, Athens with museums and restaurants, and the Texas Freshwater Fisheries Center.
