Pecan Grove camping area sits within Garner State Park along the Frio River on the southwestern Edwards Plateau near Concan. The area features 49 water-only campsites within a landscape of dramatic limestone cliffs and deep canyons. Each site includes picnic tables, fire rings, and water connections, with shade from native pecan, sycamore, and juniper trees. The Frio River flows through the park's scenic canyon, supporting bald cypress groves and diverse wildlife.
