Abilene State Park in TX

A scenic and historic Texas state park featuring shaded campsites nestled among mature pecan, oak, and cedar trees. Developed originally by the Civilian Conservation Corps, the park features impressive historical stone structures, a swimming pool, and hiking trails. It offers multiple developed camping loops with water and electric hookups as well as primitive tent sites. Most areas are highly peaceful with excellent facilities.
