1,524-acre park along the Paluxy River in Somervell County, famous for dinosaur trackways from the Cretaceous period preserved in limestone. Terrain offers river access for swimming, paddling, and fishing amid rolling woods. Twenty miles of trails support hiking and mountain biking. Primitive and standard camping available. The park's dinosaur track hiking is the most popular activity, drawing visitors to explore ancient evidence.
