The park offers screened shelters, cabins, and campsites with water-only, water-and-electric, or full-hookup options. Beyond the lake, hikers and bikers explore nature trails while over 200 documented bird species make the park a premier birdwatching destination. Built by the Civilian Conservation Corps in 1934–1935, the park's historic refectory building stands as a testament to that era's craftsmanship.
