U.S. Army Corps of Engineers allows overnight stays only at the designated sites here.

Located on the southern shore of Navarro Mills Lake, Liberty Hill Park features over 100 campsites equipped with water and electric hookups, several sewer sites, and five screened shelters with sinks. Grounds contain two multi-lane boat ramps, a fishing pier, a playground, group shelters, dump stations, and a seasonal designated swim beach. The surrounding acreage supports wild populations of deer, foxes, bobcats, and armadillos, while spring brings blooming bluebonnets. Anglers fish the lake for white crappie, catfish, and hybrid stripers.

The road in has not been measured -- unknown, not bad. Sits on broad, near-level ground.

Crowded here -- the nearest through road is 0.1 miles off, a 101-site campground. The Navarro Mills Lake shoreline is 0.2 mi off. Open country -- nothing named rises within 30 miles of here. Most sites here have an electric hookup -- 2 sit on the water, most of them shaded. Night skies measure Bortle 3 -- a dark rural sky. The nearest town, Dawson, is 3.6 mi off.

September normals 6690°F, 3.1″ rain. Monthly averages, PRISM 1991–2020.
