Central Texas park on the Navasota River where two ecosystems meet, featuring spring-fed limestone bluffs. Fort Parker Lake spans 750 acres with clear channel and blue catfish, white and black bass, crappie. Three-acre Lake Springfield and the Navasota River add water recreation. Seven miles of trails. Screened shelters offer semi-outdoor shelter as alternative to tent camping; group facilities and historic CCC-built infrastructure from 1941.
