Cleburne State Park centers on the spring-fed Cedar Lake, a serene 116-acre water surrounded by forested terrain and quiet campsites on the northern edge of Texas Hill Country. The park features campgrounds with water and electric hookups, screened shelters, and group facilities. On site: swimming beach, no-wake boating, kayak rentals, an ADA fishing pier, and nearly 13 miles of trails ranging from easy nature walks to technical mountain-bike routes. Historical Civilian Conservation Corps structures—including a three-tiered spillway that resembles a waterfall after rain—date to the 1930s.
