Secluded group camping area accommodating up to 24 people on the San Marcos River and Oxbow Lake in Central Texas near Gonzales, roughly an hour from Austin and San Antonio. The park features rare dwarf palmetto vegetation, canoeing and fishing with equipment loans, hiking and biking trails including the Palmetto Trail, and a historic Civilian Conservation Corps pavilion with an air-conditioned kitchen ideal for group gatherings and events.
