Promontory Campground sits along the open shorelines of Proctor Lake in the Cross Timbers region of Texas. The grounds feature grassy areas with scattered black willow trees, offering campsites that range from primitive tent sites to locations with electrical hookups and screened shelters. On-site boat ramps and docks provide direct water access for swimming, powerboating, and fishing for bass and crappie. High Point Park, located two miles away, expands local options with over 10 miles of designated hiking and equestrian trails.
