Copperas Creek in TX -- Campground & RV Camping in Texas

Copperas Creek Park sits on the southwestern shore of Proctor Lake in Texas's Cross Timbers region, characterized by open grassy areas, cottonwoods, black willows, and cypress trees. The park features 67 summer campsites (30 in winter) equipped with water, sewer, and 20/30/50-amp electric hookups, covered picnic tables, flush and pit toilets, hot showers, drinking water, and a dump station. Facilities include three boat ramps, swimming beaches, two in-park fishing docks, a deep-water fishing platform near the dam, group shelters, and access to 10 miles of trails at adjacent High Point Park.
