Atlanta State Park stretches along Wright Patman Lake in northeast Texas, featuring towering pines and hardwoods that provide scenic fall and spring colors. The 1,475-acre densely forested park has 58 campsites with water and electric hookups, some with sewer connections; two boat ramps; and 4.8 miles of hiking trails including a nature trail. The lake supports fishing including large catfish, plus swimming, boating, and water-skiing. Equipment rentals include canoes, kayaks, and fishing tackle.
