Cold Brook Campground sits near Cold Brook Lake in the Southern Black Hills, created by a 1950s flood control dam. The site features 12 primitive campsites without hookups, alongside potable water, vault toilets, fire rings, grills, picnic shelters, a playground, an archery range, a boat ramp, a beach, and a non-motorized two-track path through the wildlife area. Gas boat motors are prohibited on the 33-acre lake.
