Idlewild Campground sits at 5,000 feet elevation among Ponderosa pines in the Blue Mountains off Highway 395. The facility features a reservable, accessible group day-use shelter for up to 75 people with picnic tables, a campfire ring, grills, vault toilets, and drinking water. Individual overnight campsites are available on a first-come, first-served basis. The Devine Summit Trail originates inside the campground for hiking and mountain biking, while winter brings cross-country skiing and snowmobiling. Horse trails are located within 10 miles.
