Tahkenitch Landing Campground sits on the grassy banks of the 2,118-acre Tahkenitch Lake in the Oregon Dunes National Recreation Area. Campsites lining the shoreline fit tents and small campers, while elevated hillside sites accommodate RVs. Facilities include vault toilets, a day-use picnic area, a boat ramp, and individual sites with picnic tables and fire rings with grills. No drinking water is available. The lake supports boating, swimming, and fishing for bass and trout, while the Tahkenitch Dunes Trail across the road leads through pine and cedar forests to the Pacific shore.
