Iron Ridge Campground sits on a heavily wooded hardwood ridge overlooking 143-acre Lake Vesuvius in southeastern Ohio's Wayne National Forest. Campsites accommodate up to eight people and feature picnic tables and fire rings with grills. Many sites offer electric hookups and individual water connections, while others share water spigots; flush toilets, showers, drinking water, and an RV dump station are located on site. A half-mile trail connects directly to the lake, joining over 40 miles of area paths including an 8-mile loop trail and routes leading to Rock House Cave.
