Jack's Creek Group Area sits at 8,000 feet in the Sangre de Cristo Mountains, 50 miles from Santa Fe on the edge of the Pecos Wilderness. The campground offers two separate group units, Group A and Group B, each holding up to 40 guests along paved roads. Group B is accessible. Jack's Creek runs nearby, offering trout fishing. The site borders the 14.3-mile Jacks Creek Trail #257, which serves hikers, backpackers, and horseback riders traveling toward Pecos Baldy Lake. Pecos National Historical Park is 50 minutes away, and the town of Pecos is 21 miles south.
