CCC Campground is set among the colorful badland buttes and prairies of North Dakota, bordered to the north by the Little Missouri River. The facility provides 22 campsites across 3 loops with parking pads up to 60 feet, picnic tables, and fire rings with grills. An equestrian loop welcomes horses. Amenities include 5 vault toilets and seasonal water spigots. Hike directly onto the 150-mile Maah Daah Hey Trail, or take the 2-mile Sunset Loop and 11-mile Long X Trail. Theodore Roosevelt National Park lies just across the river, and supplies are 15 minutes north in Watford City.

Crowded here -- the nearest through road is 0.2 miles off, a 25-site campground. Little Missouri River runs 0.2 mi off. Most sites here have an electric hookup. Night skies measure Bortle 2 -- true dark-sky territory. The nearest town, Watford City, is 15 mi off.
