Trapper Springs Campground sits along the lower Madison River, roughly halfway between the Warm Springs boat launch and Black's Ford Fishing Access Site. It provides direct river access for trout fishing, floating, and tubing. The site contains 15 campsites equipped with fire pits and picnic tables, three accessible vault toilets, and drinking water. A day-use area includes a reservable group pavilion with parking for 20 vehicles. While no boat ramp is on site, several ramps are nearby, and Norris Hot Springs and the Lee Metcalf Wilderness are in the surrounding area.
