Sheridan Campground sits on the banks of Rock Creek under the shadow of the Beartooth Range, seven miles south of Red Lodge off the Beartooth Highway. Set in a forest of pine and aspen, the small loop features single-family sites equipped with picnic tables, fire rings with grills, drinking water, and accessible vault toilets. Sites 5 through 8 are restricted to vehicles under 30 feet, with tight turnarounds for trailers and RVs. Nearby recreation includes rainbow trout fishing on Rock Creek, canoeing on Greenough Lake, and trail access for hiking, biking, and OHVs.
The road in has not been measured -- unknown, not bad.
