Rattin Campground sits along the banks of Rock Creek beneath the Beartooth Range, seven miles south of Red Lodge off the Beartooth Highway. The terrain is forested with aspen and pine, providing habitat for deer, elk, and grizzly bears. Sites are equipped with picnic tables and campfire rings with grills, alongside accessible vault toilets and drinking water. Rock Creek offers rainbow trout fishing, while Greenough Lake is eight miles away for paddling. Mountain biking and hiking trails are nearby, including the Parkside National Recreation Trail and Hellroaring and Lake Fork Trailheads.
The road in has not been measured -- unknown, not bad. Flat ground is scarce -- under a tenth of the terrain within a few hundred yards is level.
