Lupine Shelter is a year-round day-use picnicking facility set at 7,600 feet in a grassy meadow surrounded by pine forest, 25 miles south of Wise River, Montana. Constructed in the early 1990s as a replica of a Civilian Conservation Corps building, the shelter features a large interior rock fireplace, windows, and two tables with chairs, alongside outdoor picnic tables. Accessible vault toilets are provided on site. Drinking water and trash collection are not available, requiring visitors to carry out their own waste.

The road in has not been measured -- unknown, not bad.
