Malad Summit Campground sits at 6,100 feet elevation next to Mill Creek, 14 miles north of Malad. Set within a shaded forest of maple and Douglas fir trees, the facility features gravel roads leading to single sites, a double site, and a 125-person group site. Individual campsites come equipped with tables, fire rings, and grills, complemented by shared vault toilets and drinking water. Mill Creek provides cutthroat and rainbow trout fishing, while the nearby 12-mile Summit Trail offers connections to local multi-use routes for hiking, horseback riding, and off-road vehicles.
