Winfield Campground occupies a shaded shore along the Little River section of J. Strom Thurmond Lake. The park offers 80 campsites with water and electric hookups, two bathhouses with flush toilets and showers, a pit toilet, a dump station, and a playground near the designated swimming beach. Boating amenities include a camper-only boat ramp and courtesy dock. The surrounding pine and hardwood forest provides access to the 70,000-acre lake, with hiking trails, a nature center, and wildlife viewing located nearby at Mistletoe State Park.
