McPhee Recreation Complex sits on a pinyon and juniper mesa 500 feet above McPhee Reservoir at 7,400 feet elevation near Dolores. The facility features 71 single sites across two paved loops, including electric hookups, shaded shelters, flush toilets, and 12 walk-in tent sites, plus four reservable group sites with a ball field, volleyball posts, and horseshoe pits. On-site infrastructure includes a boat ramp, fish cleaning station, and the half-mile Can Do Trail to a reservoir overlook. Mesa Verde National Park and the Anasazi Heritage Center are within a short drive.
