McPhee Campground sits on a mesa 500 feet above McPhee Reservoir near Dolores, Colorado, offering 71 sites on two paved loops. Fifty sites are reservable; 24 have electrical hookups, and 12 walk-in tent sites sit near scenic overlooks. Potable water, flush toilets, picnic tables, and fire rings serve the facility at 7,400 feet elevation. McPhee Reservoir has 50 miles of shoreline. Boating, water skiing, and fishing are popular. A ball field, volleyball posts, and horseshoe pits are available in the complex.
