Main campground hub of Trinidad Lake State Park's 2,960 acres in southern Colorado. Seventy-three campsites and forty-six picnic sites spread across pinyon-juniper woodlands and mixed-grass prairies. The 1,230-acre lake is stocked for fishing and equipped with a boat ramp. Ten miles of trails loop through the terrain; a visitor center operates daily near Carpios Ridge.
