Set within a natural rock notch carved by the Lake Fork of the Gunnison River, this campground sits on the Silver Thread National Scenic Byway 16 miles north of Lake City. Facilities include eight campsites, two vault restrooms, and a hand pump dispensing potable water. The site provides direct river access for fishing and shore picnics.
