Silver Jack Campground sits near the Silver Jack Reservoir, surrounded by dense aspen groves, scattered spruce trees, and tall wildflowers. The campground is split into three loops—Chipeta, Ouray, and Sapinero—containing 60 individual single-family campsites. Each site comes equipped with a picnic table and fire ring, with select locations offering accessible facilities. On-site amenities are limited to drinking water taps, requiring visitors to bring all necessary food and supplies. The surrounding Cimarron Ridge features extensive trail networks, including nearby off-highway vehicle routes.
