Perched at 9,600 feet on the Alpine Plateau, this historic retreat features two semi-rustic cabins flanked by spruce, fir, and aspen forests near Blue Creek. The main cabin sleeps four on twin bunks and includes a propane stove, refrigerator, sink, and potbelly wood stove, while a second cabin offers a queen bed and loft. A separate bathhouse provides a vault toilet. Horse corrals and a barn sit on site for equestrian use. Guests must bring bedding, clean the facilities, pack out all trash, and travel one mile to reach the Uncompahgre Peak trailhead.
