St. Charles Campground sits at 8,600 feet in the Wet Mountains along the boulder-lined banks of St. Charles Creek, one mile west of Lake Isabel. Shaded by aspens and tall Douglas firs, the facility accommodates tent and small trailer camping. Each site includes a tent pad, bear-proof food locker, picnic table, fire ring, and fire pedestal. Amenities feature accessible vault toilets, hand-pumped drinking water, and trash dumpsters. Anglers fish for brook trout in the creek and rainbow trout at the lake, while nearby options include the Snowslide and Cisneros trails.
