Coastal campground at Sonoma Coast State Park on a sandy beach with dunes overlooking the Pacific. Modern facilities include flush toilets, token-operated hot showers, and potable water filling stations. Walk-in sites available for hikers and bikers. Maximum trailer length 31 feet; no hookups available. Picnic tables and fire rings at most sites. Dogs allowed in campground (not on beaches or dunes). Beach access with 99 campsites during peak season. Sandy beach environment popular for observation and exploration, though dangerous rip currents and heavy surf limit safe swimming.
