Horse Heaven Group Campground is a tent-only facility at 5,600 feet in the Laguna Mountains of the Cleveland National Forest. Surrounded by pine trees, the campground consists of three group loops—Lupine, Buttercup, and Hollyhock—accommodating 40 to 100 people. On-site facilities include vault toilets and drinking water, though despite its name, no equestrian features are present. Campers can access local hiking trails, including a nearby segment of the Pacific Crest Trail, with a general store located 2.3 miles away.
