Situated above 6,000 feet in elevation, Silver Lake Campground offers eight campsites along the eastern side of Silver Lake. Each site includes a picnic table, fire ring, and food storage locker. Amenities include vault toilets and a day-use parking area near the water. There is no drinking water or trash service. Hiking trails lead to Bucks Summit on the Pacific Crest Trail and Spanish Peak, while local off-highway vehicle (OHV) routes may contain hazard trees from the 2021 Dixie Fire.
