U.S. Army Corps of Engineers allows overnight stays only at the designated sites here.

Located in the steep Yuba River canyon of the Sierra Nevada foothills, this boat-in facility features 51 remote, non-hookup campsites set in open grassy patches or wooded areas. Each site includes a tent pad, picnic table, fire ring, and lantern hanger, with vault toilets within walking distance. Visitors must bring their own drinking water. A lake marina offers store supplies by land or water. Anglers target bass, trout, and Kokanee salmon across the lake, with Narrows Day Use Area and Bridgeport State Park nearby.

The road in has not been measured -- unknown, not bad.

Sugarloaf Hill stands 536 ft above the site, 0.4 miles north. Crowded here -- the nearest through road is 0.1 miles off, a 51-site campground. The Harry L. Englebright Lake shoreline is 0.1 mi off. Mostly tent-only sites -- 51 boat-in sites, 51 sit on the water. Night skies measure Bortle 3 -- a dark rural sky. The nearest town, Lake Wildwood, is 3.3 mi off.

September normals 6089°F, 0.2″ rain. Monthly averages, PRISM 1991–2020.
