Kirk Creek Campground is an oceanside facility situated on a 100-foot bluff overlooking the Big Sur coastline in Los Padres National Forest. The site consists of spacious, open, and grassy single-family sites with gravel and grass parking, picnic tables, campfire rings with grills, and vault toilets. A short path leads down from the bluff to a rocky beach, while the Vicente Flats Trailhead into the Ventana Wilderness sits directly across the highway. Sand Dollar Beach and Nacimiento Road are both five miles away.
All 0.4 miles in are fully maintained. Paved the whole way in (0.4 miles). Flat ground is scarce -- under a tenth of the terrain within a few hundred yards is level.
