This group campsite on Angel Island's west side accommodates up to 20 people and is the only camping area on the island with beach access. Located on a hillside above Kayak Camp Beach, it's reached by a short but steep trail from the shoreline. The beach provides launching access for kayaks and small boats. The site includes a picnic table, food locker, and pit toilet. The location combines sheltered camping with water-based recreation access, ideal for paddlers. Ferry access required from Tiburon, San Francisco, or Vallejo; arrival by private kayak or boat is also possible.
