Forty-site campground nestled beneath ancient Coast Redwoods (300+ feet tall) along the South Fork Eel River within Richardson Grove State Park, 7 miles south of Garberville. Accessible year-round for day-use; overnight camping operates September through May. River access for summer swimming and winter catch-and-release salmon and steelhead fishing. Each site features fire pit, picnic table, and food locker. Vault toilets on-site. Designated one of the southernmost old-growth redwood groves in California.
