One of three campgrounds within Richardson Grove State Park, a 2,000-acre redwood forest reserve straddling US 101 in Humboldt County. Offers 160 campsites across multiple areas, mostly designed for tents though some accommodate RVs and trailers. Each site has a picnic table, food locker, and fire pit; coin-operated showers are available. The park sits along the Eel River with opportunities for swimming, fishing, and hiking among old-growth redwoods. A Visitors Center provides wildlife displays and interpretive programs.
