Set in an open oak grove alongside a year-round stream, this first-come, first-served campground offers 10 campsites equipped with picnic tables and wood stoves, plus one vault toilet. The driveways and spaces accommodate trailers up to 30 feet. Stream fishing is popular during peak flows in winter and early spring, and the site connects directly to regional off-highway vehicle routes within the Grindstone Ranger District.
Road difficulty 4 of 5 -- a difficult drive in. Recorded as maintained only for high-clearance vehicles, dirt, pitching to 14%, 100% of it on a shelf. Flat ground is scarce -- under a tenth of the terrain within a few hundred yards is level.
