Located in the Grindstone Ranger District of Mendocino National Forest, this first-come, first-served campground provides direct access to off-highway vehicle terrain, ranging from chaparral up to high-country pine and fir forest. The site contains 20 individual spots equipped with picnic tables and fire rings, along with four dumpsters, and can accommodate trailers up to 50 feet. The campground sits near the south end of the Mendocino OHV Corridor, a designated 40-mile east-west route that links the Stonyford and Upper Lake staging areas across more than 200 miles of district trails.
