Lake Oroville's floating campsites offer water-based camping across the reservoir's 15,500-acre surface and 167 miles of shoreline. These self-contained platforms position based on lake elevation and check in at Loafer Creek Kiosk; no pets allowed. The area supports boating, fishing, swimming, and water sports, with boat rentals available at Lime Saddle and Bidwell Canyon marinas. Land-based amenities at Loafer Creek include restrooms, showers, and drinking water.
