Cowhide Cove Campground is located on the forested shore of Lake Greeson along the Little Missouri River. The facility provides 48 electric campsites and two tent-only sites, all equipped with picnic tables, grills, and lantern poles. Onsite amenities include hot showers, a dump station, a boat ramp, a swim beach, a playground, and a short nature trail. The 7,260-acre lake offers 30 miles of surrounding trails, four commercial marinas, and fishing for bass, catfish, and crappie. Rainbow trout inhabit the river tailwaters below the dam.
