Deerlick Creek Campground is set in a mixed pine and hardwood forest along Holt Lake on the Black Warrior River, 17 miles from the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa. The campground features 46 sites with water and electric hookups (including six tent-only sites) and a reservable group picnic shelter. Amenities include hot showers, a swimming beach, a multi-use sports court, hiking trails, and a paved bicycle path. The surrounding 457-mile waterway system is popular for boating and fishing for bass, crappie, bream, and catfish.
