Nelson Creek Recreation Area Campground
A massive, well-maintained lakeside camping area offering numerous spread-out campsites on both elevated ledges and direct waterfront spots. The location features excellent views of Fort Peck Lake and distant layered canyon walls, accompanied by basic developed amenities in a remote, peaceful setting. High winds are common throughout this exposed peninsula. Access is via a heavily washboarded four-mile gravel road.
