A basic gravel pull-off campground located along the scenic Dalton Highway corridor in the Brooks Range foothills.
Galbraith Lake Campground
Galbraith Lake Campground is situated north of the Brooks Range, offering stunning views of the surrounding tundra, mountains, Gates of the Arctic National Park to the west, and the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge to the east. This basic, undeveloped BLM campground features 12 designated campsites on a first-come, first-serve basis. It serves as an excellent basecamp for hiking and exploring the remote northern slope. Facilities include a single vault toilet and bearproof garbage cans; there is no drinking water or firewood available.

Marion Creek Campground
A developed BLM campground nestled on the south side of the Brooks Range in the Middle Fork Koyukuk River valley. Located five miles north of Coldfoot, it serves as an excellent basecamp for exploring the scenic northern wilderness and accessing the nearby Marion Creek Falls trail. Features 27 campsites, potable water via hand pump, and a seasonal campground host.
