Deadhorse Trailhead Campground sits at 8,490 feet on the northern slope of the Uinta Mountains. The site features four single campsites with picnic tables, fire rings, and a vault toilet, set in a light forest of lodgepole pine, ponderosa pine, and aspen. Positioned next to the Deadhorse Trailhead, it functions primary as a staging point for off-road vehicles accessing the Deadhorse OHV trail system, while also accommodating hiking, mountain biking, and horseback riding. Moose and deer frequently range near the local lake.
