Bridger-Teton National Forest, Big Piney Ranger District allows dispersed camping here -- 5-day limit in any 30 days. This rule applies May 1 to September 6 only.
All 14 miles in are maintained only for high-clearance vehicles. Graded dirt the whole way in (14 miles). Climbs 1,900 ft over 14 miles -- sustained grades near 16%, with pitches to 28%. Stretches run along a shelf with a drop of up to ~110 ft on the downhill side. Winds through 7 switchbacks.
